First things first,that is an annoying and better yet undermining perspective  i need to distort.I am an appreciator of good looks... Andrew Kenneth is hot! but i would be dammed if my enthusiasm for Peter Kenneth is fueled by this boy. Thank you! Therefore my reasons you must be wondering? Well, that's a story for another day.

...and now why i am writing.

I suppose you have come across the 'KEEP CALM' on merchandise. T shirts mostly.If you haven't, you probably will sometime soon because they are here and there and definitely viral.Let me run a history about it for yah: KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON was a catchphrase  used by the British Safety council to boost morale of the people in preparation of post wartime disaster in the world-war era .The poster was rediscovered in 2000 in an ancient bookshop.The crown copyright on artistic works created by the UK government expires after 50 years making it therefore legal to reprint or recreate works inspired by the same.The posters greater resurgence however, was due to the global economic crisis in England recently.Scholars have published articles about the relevance of the poster in motivating people to deal with current issues.

And that people was my inspiration for this Keep calm poster (OH!and the font too) in support of our in coming el presidente Peter Kenneth :P  who knows,it could move the masses like it did in world war ii era and we can finally get the pigs out of office and give way to sane leadership for once.

ABSOLUT AFRICA!

About those Absolut vodka ads…the culture jammers. So, culture jamming generally is a form of disruption that plays on the emotions of viewers and bystanders. Jammers want to disrupt the unconscious thought process that takes place when most consumers view a popular advertising and bring about a détournement. Activists that utilize this tactic are counting on their meme to pull on the emotional strings of people and evoke some type of reaction. (you could look it up for further understanding)

The most effective form of jamming is to use an already widely recognizable meme to transmit the message. Once viewers are forced to take a second look at the mimicked popular meme they are forced out of their comfort zone. Viewers are presented with another way to view the meme and forced to think about the implications presented by the jammer. looking at this you sort of get the drill..The Absolut Aspen 

So the topic caught my eye..and I later looked it up…absolut paris,absolutAmsterdam, absolut Bangkok..etc.Absolut Africa?...Absolut Africa?..no results.okkkkaay…it not a bad thing not to advertise alcohol in africa but hey…we were left out..so on impulse,I came up with this roughly 5mins…and I have put it up.If I find time I could work on something thought about for longer but for now this one works just fine ..hopefully Absolut Africa will pop up on google. :/ LOL
